I’ve been reading your work for a year! Never left a post so thought I should now. Greetings all the way from Denmark. Thanks for sharing all the relatable writing.

Thanks for sharing, I’ve enjoyed following along as a fellow tech employee, mom, and professional contemplating the jump out of corporate world. I appreciate your honesty and it’s encouraged me to be more honest about my story.

Wow, it’s like reading myself in your story. It echoes something that’s been sitting in my drafts for months.

Even though I am honest in my writing, I struggle with how much to share. I hesitate to post on LinkedIn. So I quietly write, publish or not publish. Today I finally released a piece to remind myself to stop hiding behind procrastination.

One piece sitting in draft is about leaving Amazon. To accept this chapter is closing, and to embrace what begins next.

I have a few draft pieces I'm not ready to share (and maybe never will). Some things are too personal. But for the most part, I try to push myself to share past the point of discomfort.

Excited to read your latest piece!

Thank you for being vulnerable! I found your newsletter through Lenny’s and it came when I needed to draft my mat leave plan. I’ve been reading all of them since then (over 2 years now!).

Very inspiring !

So inspiring! I followed you as a fellow mom struggling with the push and pull between ambition and motherhood. Also a substack writer, so appreciate seeing your journey here too. ♥️

I am really enjoying the process of writing, but my growth has been much slower than I would like, especially when I see others who started on a similar timeframe enjoying much more growth. I am an overachiever at heart, so it has been hard for me to focus on why I started it in the first place. It's hard to separate the two! Comparison truly is the thief of joy.

So glad to hear this inspired you! We often see the "end" of the journey when people get to the huge metrics but really the growth is in the process of getting there
